You Can't Trust It to Remain by John Burroughs published today!

Happy National Poetry Month! I'm delighted that my new chapbook, You Can't Trust It to Remain, was published today by Between Shadows Press. Thank you, Tohm Bakelas!

It's a very limited edition, so you might want to grab your copy fast. The titles of the chapbook and of all its poems were derived from David Berman / Silver Jews songs. Besides my "Random Rules," which was originally published in Gasconade Review, none of these poems have appeared in print before.

Here's how I described You Can't Trust It to Remain on Goodreads:

New poems about love and loss and the inner journey. David Berman, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and William Merricle walk into a bar in the author's psyche and come back out somehow resembling Burroughs poems. Drink up!
