Appearing at the Avon Lake Public Library's Read Write Local on 11/6

I only have three more events scheduled for this year, and here's the next one:

I will have the honor of participating in Read Write Local, an annual event at the Avon Lake Public Library, on November 6th 2021, where over 30 Northeast Ohio authors will be up and down the library's indoor "Avenue" to meet you, sell books, and sign them. There will be two sessions, each featuring different authors. The morning session will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon and the afternoon session (where I'm scheduled) will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

I very much enjoyed reading for and facilitating the Bronx Book Fair's "Literary Jam Sessions Part II" via Zoom yesterday afternoon. That was my first event since April.

You won't have to wait so long for my next one, for the Read/Write/Local: Unbound series, which will happen August 17th at 7 p.m., hosted by the Avon Lake Public Library online. I will be joined in reading and conversation by two outstanding local poets: Shelley Chernin (author of The Vigil) and Doc Janning (Poet Laureate of South Euclid). Hope to see you there!

On November 9th, I had the pleasure of being part of the Avon Lake Public Library​'s Read Write Local program. Avon Lake Community Television recently broadcast highlights of the day, including this clip where local poets Monica Weber Babcock, Lisa Kahl and I read from our latest works and answer questions about writing, publishing, and performing poetry. Featured at Read/Write/Local on November 9th in Avon Lake

On Saturday 11/9, I'll be one of the Avon Lake Public Library's featured authors at their annual Read/Write/Local - A celebration of readers and writers! The show runs from 10 am to 4 pm, with our poetry panel scheduled for noon. The day's other featured authors will include Christopher Johnston, Kelly Boyer Sagert, Lara Lillibridge, John Bruening, Monica Babcock and more. I'll have copies of my new book - Rattle & Numb: Selected & New Poems, 1992-2019 [Venetian Spider Press] on hand.

CLE Photo Fest reading 10/25 at Mac's - and looking for more OH gigs

I am looking for more Ohio (and vicinity) gigs in support of my new book this fall/winter/spring, especially in cities where I've not read before (though I'm also happy to return to cool places I've already been). I only have 2 more out-of-state readings scheduled this year (Nov 1 & 2 in western North Carolina) and then I'm sticking close to home through March. All suggestions/offers welcome!
