JOHN BURROUGHS serves as Ohio's Beat Poet Laureate (2019-21). A nationally touring writer, his most recent books include Rattle & Numb: Selected and New Poems, 1992-2019 [2019, Venetian Spider Press] and Loss and Foundering [2018, NightBallet Press]. John has hosted numerous reading series in the Greater Cleveland area and currently moderates the Cleveland Poetics blog and online Northeast Ohio Literary Calendar. Since 2008 he has served as the founding editor of Crisis Chronicles Press, publishing over 100 books by esteemed poets from around the world.

Flying Ketchup Press® was founded in 2018 to champion new and diverse voices in short fiction and poetry. Our dream, to share worlds of wonder and delight.
